Events
OUTO ry organizes various events for students, from pub quizzes to orienteering and bar parties to sports tournaments. We also actively collaborate with other student organizations and companies. There are events all over the place and hopefully everyone will find something interesting to do besides studying!

We sell tickets for all our events on the kide.app app! We inform about upcoming events on our Instagram @outory.

Traditional events that OUTO ry organizes annually or even every month. Here you will also find the most important events for new students!
Pre-Picnic
A picnic organized by OSAKO but held by OUTO in the fall for new students before school has even started! At the picnic, you can get to know your group tutors and other new students. More information about the event will be announced later in the summer on OUTO’s Instagram @outory.
Pikkulauantai
Pikkulauantai is an interdisciplinary pub quiz organized by OUTO ry. It is held on the first Wednesday of every month. Topics and prizes vary every month.
RotuaariRundi
RotuaariRundi, formerly Tour d’ OUTO, is an interdisciplinary orienteering event held every September, where teams tour different bars and complete fun tasks that fit the theme.
Bilisturnaus
KONE X OIO X OUTO
The Billiard Tournament, or Bilisturnaus, which has already become a tradition, is held twice a year! Come and challenge your friends and unkn0wn students.
Be My Valentine
OTE x OSASTO x OUTO
The wildest Valentine’s Day party where you’re sure to meet new people! The party features speed dating, matchmaking, a raffle and other fun things.
Sitz
OUTO ry organizes different themed sitz every semester! At the sitz, people sing and have fun with friends.
Traditional freshman sitz for new students are held every autumn.

Tradenologia
An event organized every year by the Finnish Business Administration Students and its member associations, which brings together all Finnish business administration students in one city.
Tradenologia was last held in Oulu in 2018.
Pre-Christmas party
OUTO ry is organizing a pre-Christmas party for business administration students before Christmas! There will be fun activities, a sauna & hot tub, and we hope you’ve been nice all year, because of course Santa Claus himself will be there!
Transsi
OUTO x Finanssi
A crazy Halloween house party that’s sure to be a hit! Come to the sauna and hot tub and party until dawn with the monsters!
Annual Ball
OUTO ry’s annual ball, or vujut, is held every five years.
The next annual ball will be in 2028!
OUTO10
A charity event organized for the first time in 2026, with the aim of running 10 kilometers for mental health.
The event was carried out in cooperation with Oulu2026, the Oulu Region Trade Unions OST and the Oulu branch of Mieli ry.
EVENTS WE ARE INVOLVED IN
OUTO ry participates in many events and you can spot us at several student events in the Oulu area. We also often have stands at various events, such as the Hurmos Day Event.
Tour d' Oulu
Orienteering organized by OSAKO every autumn around the center of Oulu. OUTO is involved in holding the checkpoint and selling overall badges.
OSAKO:n vappuviikko
OUTO is participating in OSAKO’s May Day week with its own event. In 2026, OUTO organized the Bring Me to Me orienteering for the first time instead of the traditional Day Disco.
OUTO also has its own checkpoint in OSAKO’s May Day orienteering.
